Armed males have opened hearth on the Iranian parliament and the shrine of Ayatollah Khomeini within the capital, Tehran, Iranian media report.

At the very least one gunman fired pictures inside parliament, wounding a guard, information companies stated. There are conflicting experiences of different individuals harm.

An assault on the mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini, the founding father of the trendy republic, has induced a number of accidents.

Fars information company says three armed males raided the shrine in southern Tehran.

Two of the assailants shot at guests, whereas the third “detonated himself in a suicide assault”, the semi-official information company stated.

A witness instructed Reuters information company that the incident at parliament was over.

Iran’s IRIB information company quoted an MP as saying there have been quite a few attackers on the parliament constructing, armed with AK-47 rifles.

“There have been three attackers armed with two Kalashnikov rifles and one colt pistol,” MP Elyas Hazrati was quoted as saying.

The information company stated two safety guards had been injured.

The assault on the mausoleum, a number of kilometres to the south, occurred on the identical time and gave the impression to be co-ordinated, experiences stated.
